Sips Self Panels

Structural Insulation Panels SIPS are the Most Energy Efficient Cost Effective Fast Track Building System Available. SIPTEC homes reduce the usage of dimensional bricks, mortar and timber framing. Sips self panels are often tried in building homes.

This is because manufacturing of the raw materials needed for SIPs uses little energy, and the panels do not contain urea formaldehyde, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), hydrocluorofluorocarbons (HCFCs).
Alden Dow created the first known SIP panels back in 1952. These buildings have been in continuous occupation ever since and are still structurally sound. Today with the advent of cellular plastics sandwich construction composites can be found in a divers range of products.

It takes about 60 to 80 Sips to complete one average sized three bedroom house instead of the thousands of individual construction pieces, such as brick, mortar, timber, hangers, nails and staples that a conventional construction requires. The super-strong, structural insulated panels become the walls, floors and roof of the home.

Ready To Assemble panels are usually made story height and up to 6 mtrs long, this is an easily managed module size, though we have produced complete building elevations in one piece, weight, size and manageability then becomes an issue.

Now, most manufacturers bring out sips with high density PU & modified MPF. PU is more expensive than EPS but it is more thermally efficient, stronger and much safer in the event of fire and will not lead to structural failure through meltdown. High-quality sips are produced by high pressure injection/polymerisation ensuring the panel adhesion is of the best quality and free from operator error.
