Structural Insulated Panels.

SIPs, Sips are not a new untried method of building homes. they have been used and improved in the USA, Japan and Canada since the 1950's, the directors of Structural Insulated Panels Ltd have been manufacturing Sips and adapting / tuning the technology for the last 19 years, so we are probably the most experienced Sip Producer in Europe.

SIPTEC now only manufacture sips with high density PU & modified MPF, PU is more expensive than EPS but it is proven beyond doubt to be far more thermally efficient, stronger and much safer in the event of fire and will not lead to structural failure through meltdown. Siptec Sips are produced by high pressure injection/polymerisation ensuring our panel adhesion is second to none and operator error is eradicated.

Siptec Sips, are tested & fully guaranteed, "we do not pass off" by quoting the test achievement's of competitors products.

Siptec Roofing sips can be made with tongue & groove camlock connections simplifying fitting and ensuring air/watertight connection, without thermal bridging.

SIPTEC Homes can be built on any type of base, concrete or suspended sip / wood floors.

Wall and roof sips can be delivered as individual sips (the cheapest route) typically 2.4, 2.7 or 3 mtrs x 1.2 mtrs or as RTA Panels.

RTA Ready To Assemble panels are usually made story height and up to 6 mtrs long, this is an easily managed module size, though we have produced complete building elevations in one piece, weight, size and manageability then becomes an issue.

SIPTEC homes minimise the use of dimensional bricks, mortar and timber framing. The super-strong, structural insulated panels become the walls, floors and roof of the home. It takes about 60 to 80 SIP's to complete one average sized three bedroom house instead of the thousands of individual construction pieces, such as brick, mortar, timber, hangers, nails and staples required by conventional construction.

Manufacturing of the raw materials needed for SIPs uses little energy, and the panels do not contain urea formaldehyde, chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), hydrocluorofluorocarbons (HCFCs). they are OZONE FRIENDLY
