25 (Bloomberg) -- Bradford & Bingley Plc, a U.K. home lender, agreed to buy a mortgage book from General Motors Corp.'s U.K. financing unit for as much as 1.4 billion pounds ($2.6 billion) to bolster its assets in the residential property market.
