Icf Self Build

ICF self build methods have been used for years in the USA, and they don't seem to have any long-term problems. There's not much difference between the two, with SIPS and ICF being variously quoted as more expensive and less expensive! So I guess you need to work it out for your own design.

In addition to offering lots of information about ICF construction, their Web site also allows you to search their member database for ICF manufacturers, contractors, distributors and other related professionals - just keep in mind that their stated mission is "to promote the use of ICFs, and to help overcome obstacles to industry growth."

ICF homes are valued for their durability and resistance to storms. They keep their occupants much cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. ICF homes provide safety from earthquakes and fires.
