Welcome to this unique designed house in the North East of England which is incorporating all new technology with energy efficient materials.The 5 bedroom house with a swimming pool and a lift is designed with the vision for a disabled person to make the easy things in life to able bodied people possible for disabled people.The construction of the house is ICF "
insulated concrete form" on the ground floor which are polystyrene blocks with rebar placed inside them and concrete poured in the cavity and timber frame construction on the second floor.The advantages of using ICF and timber frame construction are because they are a very quick construction and are energy efficient giving the house a very high UV saving on the lifetime running costs of the home.The house is going to have a flat roof taking advantage to use as a recreation area,the first floor roof construction is constructed of a new system called
Lite deck which is a super strong system consisting of polystyrene,rebar,reinforced mash and concrete.The second storey timber frame is going to be stick built on site and cladded with cedar boarding.An automated system and assisted technology is going to be used inside the house to make life easier for the disabled client which can help in alarm systems,opening doors,playing music in any room,lighting and so on.The interior is going to have a heat recovery system which changes the air every 2hrs taking away cooking smells and the general stuffiness of stale air a dehumidifying system in the pool area and air conditioning in parts of the house.
